So everyone knows Britney is pulling a comeback...But Paris Hilton is about to decide who her new BFF - best friend forevetr is. Her video for "Paris for President" is hilarious. She got a lot of hate for her Carl's Jr. commercials. Who's hating? Maybe Carl's Jr. should be critizised. Paris doing her job and doing it well - like J Lo say! Don't see the fun in watching entertainers like Paris and Britney who are human and make mistakes too be made examples of or being in disstressful situations. Are they judged on there career moves or actions. Don't see the scale of justice or medical care properly being exercised in there situations.

A mom and an heiress first beyond the entertainers we know them as.

My opions and thoughts for now.

I can relate. I get hate for being a hockey fan. Been watching since a year before the great one came to LA.,yeah and waiting and hoping for the cup. I hate all those Jason..Friday the 13th movies..a new big budget one will be out soon. Hockey was around before Friday he 13th twisted the idea of a hockey mask around. The Stanley Cup..the holy grail of sports or hardest trophy out ther to win....hockey jerseys should't be seen as gangster clothes either..I know Kid and Play(old school) had them in their videos. Kind of like Raiders Jerseys and gangster rap. Jerseys there before the rap. Things get turned around the wrong way. Funny new latest King's goalie name is Jason LeBarbara. Young and talented. Oh and if anyone out there knows me, i used to watch baseball and hockey really closely cause I wanted to be a scout...notr a gay thing..hoping to make a career move...kind of like Mike Breedo scouted Fernando Valenzuela from the Yucatan Leones(Lions) in Mexico Mayan Riviera. My Parents from this area and I have been to a game. Hope I spelled all the names right.

Saxby Chambliss, a first-term Republican senator, was re-elected by Georgia voters on Tuesday in a substantial victory, ending Democratic hopes for a 60-vote majority in the Senate that would make it difficult for Republicans to filibuster the Obama administration’s legislative agenda.

With 96 percent of the state’s precincts reporting in the runoff election, Mr. Chambliss had 57.5 percent of the vote, and his Democratic challenger, Jim Martin, 42.5 percent. The margin was far greater than the three percentage points that separated the two men in the Nov. 4 election, when neither won the required 50 percent. Many of the Democrats who turned out last month in enthusiastic support of Barack Obama apparently did not show up at the polls on Tuesday. You cant expect Obama's black supportes to get out of bed twice in a month

That only leaves the result in the  undecided state of Minnesota, where a recount is under way.The margin at the moment is wafer thin in favour of the Republican Norn Coleman over his oponent,  former comedian Al Franken, who , if he loses can go back to what he does best, trying to make people laugh.

planning test series and even one day matches years in advance seems to have no meaning for me. Hopelessly weak teams are pitted against teams that are much superior to them resulting in lacklustre performances and the virtual "killing off" of the game.
 
Take the recent India England ODIs and the Zimbabwe Sri Lanka matches. England finally found an excuse to call off the mismatches and stop the inevitable 7-0 drubbing that would have done untold damage to the future of the game in that country. Sri Lanka gave an unbelievably lacklustre performance and it was only due to them doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in the last 3 games, that those matches were even remotely watchable.
 
What should happen is that series are planned only a maximum of an year in advance and current form is used to decide who plays whom. Since the game is so strongly aligned to betting anyway, it will be a simple matter to use the formula that the bookies use to judge "current form".
 
For example on current form it is Australia, India and Sri Lanka that should be playing against each other in tests with South Africa, Pakistan England forming another group and New Zealand, West Indies, Bangladesh and Zimbabwe (assuming they are given back test status) forming the last group.
 
Just think about it a home and away series between these teams in 2009 would be really worth watching wouldn't it ?  
 
In the recent past how many such mismatches have there been. When ever they were tours of the sub continent how often have the visiting side avoided a drubbing by cancelling the tour half way through due to terrorism ? This in spite of assurances from the host government that full protection would be given and garantees of safety. If this was done the current hoo-ha about the IPL may also have been avoided.
 
This should be the job of the ICC and if they are not capable it is time for ACC (Asian Cricket Council) to take over !

There's been a fair bit of talk in recent days about Britain joining the euro. Not just from Mr Barroso, the jefe de la junta in Brussels, but whispers in markets, too.

But it seems even dafter politically. There has to be an election by Spring 2010. Just imagine the headlines in the Sun if Brown were to attempt this having 'abolished the pound', 'sold out to Europe'.

Miracle... we are! I was told to stick around until the miracle happened... I did, and it did!

Meditation... for it allows me to listen to God, helps me start my day, and keeps me God conscious!

Meetings... When I walked in, off the street... freezing cold, wet, filthy, shaking, desperate... you welcomed me with open arms and hugged me. Where I was invisible on the street, you saw me. When I was hopeless, you gave me hope. When I spilled my coffee and tried to sneak out unnoticed, I was given a hand... and you asked me to stay anyway. You helped me and showed me what to do. Then... I was told to come back... whoa... so I did, and I do! Today I show my gratitude by doing this for others that come into our rooms... I can't keep what I have, without giving it away!

Message... I'm grateful that I listen for the message, and I live to carry the message to others!

Mirror... When I was on the street, I feared the big plate glass windows... afraid that I might catch a glimpse of me... I couldn't bear the thought. Today I can look in the mirror and see what I say and say what I see... I would venture as far as to say that I am grateful that I even like what I see! Now when I see a big window that carries reflections, I can see me act like a kid and laugh!

Mom's... I am grateful to have my mom for my mom... she's really cool! She's done the best she can, with all her heart and soul.... she lost my dad and 3 of their sons... my brothers... she even had to let me go and turn me away when I was in the thralls of this disease... and she doesn't drink.... whoa! She loves me, and I love her! And I'm so grateful that I am a mom... and learn, through recovery, how to be a better mom... one day at a time!

Music... ahhhhhhhh.... my lover, my passion! I'm grateful for the gift of music... I don't have to sell my guitars to get what I had to get! They remind me, that I am one drink from where I've been... then I remember what it was like... and I love what it is like now! My dream, of many years, was to have a Gibson acoustic guitar... older than me... and this one just so happens to be a '52... 7 years older... she's sweet... music to my heart and soul!

More... Today I want More of the right stuff... More contact constant contact with God... More recovery... More purpose... More experiences... More miracles... feelings... people... love... and hope! More? Go figure!

Meals... I got here hungry... Today, I am grateful to eat... to have a kitchen and the ability to cook meals. Sometimes there isn't much here... but that's ok, cuz I don't have to scope out the soup kitchen's and dumpster's today... unless I want to... so that I can help serve!

Medicine... I am grateful to have another disease too... and to be one of 65 people, in the world, taking treatment injections, through a grant from Presbyterian Hospital Metabolic Bone Disease Unit. Last year and this year, I had bone biopsies to donate a piece of bone for further study abroad... in research centers in Switzerland and Austria... as well as Manhattan! I found, that in trying to work recovery in all areas of life, I can carry a message in this medical area of the world too... experience, strength, hope... it's working... and it works!

Ohhhhh... MUST... I love this one... I'm grateful that it is repeated over and over in the Big Book... Must is without option... it means I have to... it means that it is important... imperative... life or death!

I must, I must, I must increase my...

nope, not my bust! LOL
